when the Danish state invited a number of architects to plan for the future development of christiania free town, vandkunsten produced a counter-proposal for christiania's negotiation group.

rather than going along with the government ambition to integrate the area into copenhagen, we look to christiania as a living laboratory for alternative forms of living. we wished to say thank you for years of inspiration.

the proposal was met with silence.
